PC/104 (aka PC104) and PC/104-Plus (aka PC104+, PC104-Plus) system components are small, 3.6" x 3.8", computer system modules used in a variety of embedded applications. These self-stacking boards can be used as standalone modules, mounted on top of another PC/104 module, or stacked above a single board computer (SBC) in a mezzanine fashion.
PC/104 is simply the PC ISA bus repackaged for industrial use, with the PC/104's drive capability limited to about 4mA. The PC/104-Plus is the PCI implementation of PC/104; it adds a 120-pin connector directly across from the PC/104's 104-pin connector to support the 33 MHz PCI bus. WinSystems offers a variety of input/output (I/O) modules and single board computers in our product lines.
